A Democracy Drive Thread
A chronological catalog of the schoolyard taunts, cruel nicknames, and crude personal attacks the president has aimed at opponents, allies, reporters, foreign leaders — even the Pope. Only insults that came from his own mouth or his own posts are included.
There was a time the presidency was occupied by people who, whatever their faults, understood the dignity of the office. This thread is a record of what replaced it: a running list of the childish insults — “piggy,” “fat slob,” “Pocahontas,” “Sleepy Joe,” “low IQ” — that the president has hurled, in public and on his social-media feed, at anyone who crosses him. Every entry here is something he said or posted himself; insults from his staff and allies are left out. They are listed in chronological order, and the pattern speaks for itself.
